SelfiPool support
Email info@elarixdev.com and include your store's myshopify address. We reply within one working day, Monday to Friday, UK time.
Getting started
- Open SelfiPool from Apps in your Shopify admin.
- Open Location and choose the location that holds your stock.
- Open Scan and press Scan now. The first read takes about a minute for every thousand variants.
- Read the issues list. Each one explains the problem and exactly what to change in Shopify.
- To compare two of your stores, open Pairing in your main store, create a network and generate a code, then open Pairing in the other store and enter the code.
- To keep one stock figure across your stores, open Sync and switch syncing on, then open a pool. Pools start in checking until you set them live, and a paid plan is needed before anything is written.
Common questions
Will SelfiPool change my stock?
Only when you have asked it to, and never before. It asks for read permissions when you install it, and it changes nothing until you switch syncing on for your network and set a pool live. After that it writes one thing: the available quantity of the SKUs you have pooled, at the location you chose. It never creates or deletes products or variants.
Every SKU starts in checking, which works the figure out and records it without touching your stock, so you can see what would be written before anything is. There is an emergency stop for each pool and for each store, and the last run can be undone.
Why is a SKU not linked?
SelfiPool only links variants whose SKUs are typed exactly the same. Open Scan: the reason and the fix are shown for every SKU that was not linked.
What happens when I uninstall?
Everything stops at once, reading and writing both. Your stock is left exactly as it stands: uninstalling never changes a quantity. Your store's data is deleted when Shopify sends its deletion request 48 hours later. See the privacy policy.
